The sheet has integral UV protection. Over 10 years the increase in the yellowness value from that of the sheet when new, does not exceed 15. The test method employed to assess any change in the yellowness value is specified in ASTM D 1925 - 1988. Yellowness can also be caused by atmospheric deposits, dirt, chemical reaction etc., and must be considered as normal wear and tear.
Fire safety. Polycarbonate sheeting is rated as a self extinguishing building material. Complies with AS1530.3, 1989 Early Fire Hazard Test.
